What RetailBonds.in is
RetailBonds.in is an independent information, research, and screening platform focused on Indian fixed income securities. We aggregate publicly available data from regulatory sources (RBI, SEBI), exchanges (BSE, NSE), and credit rating agencies (CRISIL, ICRA, CARE, India Ratings, Brickwork) and present it in a screener, comparison, and educational format.
What RetailBonds.in is not
RetailBonds.in is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India in any capacity. Specifically, we are not:
- A SEBI-registered investment advisor (under SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013)
- A SEBI-registered research analyst (under SEBI (Research Analysts) Regulations, 2014)
- A SEBI-registered Online Bond Platform Provider (under Regulation 51A of SEBI (Issue and Listing of Non-Convertible Securities) Regulations, 2021)
- A stock broker, sub-broker, or any other SEBI-regulated intermediary
- A distributor of mutual funds, insurance, or any financial product
We do not execute trades, route orders, hold investor funds, or facilitate transactions of any kind.
No investment advice
Nothing on this website — including screener results, comparisons, articles, newsletters, calculators, alerts, or any other content — constitutes investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or a solicitation to invest. All content is for general informational and educational purposes only.
Investment decisions depend on your personal financial circumstances, goals, risk tolerance, and tax situation, which RetailBonds.in does not assess. You should consult a SEBI-registered investment advisor or a chartered accountant before making any investment decision.
Risk warning
Investments in bonds, debentures, and other debt securities are subject to multiple risks including but not limited to:
- Credit risk: The issuer may delay or default on coupon or principal payments.
- Interest rate risk: Bond prices move inversely to interest rates; rising rates reduce the market value of existing bonds.
- Liquidity risk: Secondary market liquidity in many Indian bonds is limited; exiting before maturity at fair value may not be possible.
- Reinvestment risk: Coupon income may be reinvested at lower rates than the original yield to maturity.
- Call/put risk: Some bonds carry issuer or investor options that change the effective tenor.
- Tax risk: Tax treatment depends on instrument type, holding period, and your slab, and is subject to change.
Past performance is not indicative of future returns. The credit rating of a bond may change over time and does not guarantee timely payment of interest or principal.
Accuracy and completeness
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of data on RetailBonds.in, but we make no warranty — express or implied — regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of any content on this site. Data sources may contain errors, delays, or omissions. Users should independently verify any data point before relying on it for a decision. Our methodology page describes our sources and limitations in detail.
Third-party links and affiliates
This site may contain links to third-party websites, including SEBI-registered OBPPs, brokers, and other service providers. Some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a referral fee if you sign up or transact via that link. Affiliate links are disclosed where used. We have no control over third-party content and accept no responsibility for it.
No liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RetailBonds.in, its operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site or any content on it, including but not limited to investment losses, missed opportunities, or data errors.
Compliance and verification
Before transacting on any bond platform, verify its SEBI registration on the official SEBI website (sebi.gov.in) and the relevant stock exchange (NSE or BSE) member list. SEBI’s press release dated 19 November 2025 specifically warned investors about unregistered Online Bond Platform Providers — verification is on you.
