What this is
RetailBonds.in is an independent Screener.in-style research platform for Indian bonds — G-Secs, SDLs, corporate bonds and NCDs — with no trades and no issuer commissions.
It is a neutral, deep, free-at-base research and screening destination for Indian fixed income (including T-Bills). Trusted because it does not sell bonds, execute trades, or take commissions from issuers. Data comes from RBI, BSE, NSE, SEBI, and registered rating agencies.
Why this exists
Every existing bond platform in India is structurally conflicted. Online Bond Platform Providers (OBPPs) earn when you transact, so their screeners and recommendations are inevitably shaped by which bonds they can execute on. RetailBonds.in occupies the lane nobody currently holds: neutral, structured, data-driven bond research from a platform that does not transact.
What we are not
We are not a SEBI-registered intermediary of any kind. We do not execute trades, route orders, hold investor funds, or facilitate transactions. We are not a SEBI-registered investment advisor, research analyst, or Online Bond Platform Provider. See the full disclaimer.
Who built this
RetailBonds.in is founded and run by Arindam Sarkar, a software developer based in India.
His goal is to turn India’s scattered bond market into systematic, accessible data — using the mechanics of yield, duration, and credit ratings to give investors clear, accurate information they can actually use to make better decisions. First principles, without any incentive to make one number look better than another.
That’s the point of RetailBonds.in: a screening and research tool with nothing to sell. No brokerage, no trade commission, no “recommended” bonds — just data, sourced and cited the same way for every issuer.
Data sources
Everything comes from RBI, BSE, NSE, SEBI, and registered rating agencies (CRISIL, ICRA, CARE, India Ratings, Brickwork). See the methodology page for the full breakdown.
